The first habit is the most challenging for me. So much of this course will teach me things I know very little about, which makes it difficult to begin with the end in mind. I am curious and a bit excited about how this course will impact my teaching, but it is hard to envision it at this point. On the voice thread I mentioned how I was struck by habit #4. I am a confident learner, but when I stray from learning outside education and music I find it hard to keep up with the changes around me. As soon as I learn new things I find that dozens more have been created in the same time frame. It reminds of the Students Are Changing video we watched where they stated the jobs they might have after graduation have not yet been created.
